Crisis Intervention - June 10-14, 2013 for $480.60. The objective of this salary incentive 40-hour course is to provide officers with techniques designed to reestablish a person’s equilibrium in a crisis, solve immediate problems as they occur using active listening and diffusion techniques. Reviewed are legal and safety aspects, hostage situations and the surrender.
This course will educate, inform, and better prepare law enforcement officers for dangerous encounters with armed individuals. You will learn how to successfully and safely interdict and recover illegal weapons, identify characteristics commonly displayed by armed individuals, and become better informed, more observant and cognizant of your own safety and of those around you.
Search Warrant Protocol & Court Room Testimony July 16, 2013 for $139. This 8 course is designed to demonstrate the process of writing a search warrant and presenting the warrant before a judge. The course objectives will present an overview of search and seizure laws and courtroom testimony. The course will cover obtaining search warrants for house boats, hunting camps and boating accidents to include medical records.
